You Are Not Alone

Welcome, we are here for you – whoever you are, whatever you believe, wherever you are. You are not alone. We understand that your life has changed – physically, mentally, emotionally and/or spiritually –because of your military involvement. You may be facing a range of challenging conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, problems with alcohol and/or drugs, the effects of traumatic brain injury, or the not-so-simple challenges of adjusting back to home life.

Supporting the Entire Military Community

Whatever branch you served with or wherever you were stationed to defend our country, we are here for you. Your recent service in Operation Enduring Freedom or your past service in Vietnam, Korea, or WWII, is honorable and appreciated by HealthCare Chaplaincy NetworkTM. We extend our hand, our support to the entire military community: veterans, active duty, reserves, your families and friends.

How this Website Can Help

This website is designed to offer you practical, useful resources and support to questions and feelings you or your loved ones may have about your military experience from a faith or spiritual context. The pride you feel from serving may be clouded by feelings of doubt, grief and loss; they may even overwhelm you at times. Members of your own family and those within your own community may not understand your service and the all of what you experienced – the good, the bad, the ugly. Conflicting emotions are natural and normal. One day you may feel on top of the world, and the next you may struggle to even get out of bed. While you may be in pain, the core of who you are is the same – you are a good person. We are here for you – to support you.

What Professional Chaplains Can Do to Help

We offer spiritual assistance from professional chaplains who understand the nature of your service and the emotional rollercoaster you may ride as you readjust to a home environment or head back for deployment.

Professional chaplains help people in spiritual distress identify and draw upon their sources of spiritual strength – regardless of religion or beliefs. Chaplains will accept you without judgment of your beliefs, faith, practice, your doubts and misgivings.

We invite you to contact a chaplain to discuss your experience as a veteran through our free and confidential service, Chat with a Chaplain. If you are not familiar with what a chaplain does, please read our About section.
